Dr Catherine Hudson BSc BVSc MANZCVS (unusual and exotic pets) veterinarian.
Qualifications : Bachelor Veterinary Science, Membership of Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Unusual (Exotic) pets.
Dr Catherine Hudson graduated in 1997 with a degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland. Catherine has experience in a range of veterinary fields, both local and abroad. A 4 year stint from 2001 in the United Kingdom exposed Catherine to a large range of pets and specifically developed her interest in exotic companion pets. Upon returning to Australia, Catherine continued to work in small animal practice focusing on treating exotic pet species. She has completed many further education studies, including veterinary ophthalmology and her membership exams for the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in unusual (exotic) pet medicine and surgery in 2013. Catherine is only one of a small number of veterinarians in NSW with further qualifications in exotic pet medicine and surgery.
Catherine has a special interest in all pocket pets and exotic pets, including rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats, mice, snakes, lizards, turtles, amphibians and native mammals. Catherine works out of the North Shore Veterinary Hospital.
